About Heather Rogers Singleton, AGACNP

Heather Singleton, AGACNP-BC, is a certified adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and neurovascular specialist. She focuses on treating stroke and vascular disease in adults. With 19 years of experience, 13 of those as a critical care RN, Heather returned to school after her father had a stroke to specialize in neurovascular care.

Heather earned her undergraduate degree and her Master of Nursing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She is board certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

As a nurse practitioner who is able to positively impact her patients and their outcomes, Heather’s philosophy is to provide excellent care with compassion and respect. She works to create a strong relationship with her patients by respecting their beliefs and values, as well as earning their trust. She also values educating her patients and advocating for them.

Heather enjoys staying active with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her favorite activities include going to church, skiing, traveling, swimming, exercising and cross-stitch. As a native of the area, Heather appreciates the rich history of the Historic Triangle, the beautiful scenery and the active lifestyle of the region.
