About Debra Kay Spatz, DO
Debra Spatz, D.O., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric and adolescent orthopedics, sports medicine and knee and shoulder care. As a team player, Dr. Spatz understands the multidisciplinary approach, technical expertise and compassion required to treat children and adolescents. In addition, she enjoys helping patients get back to the sports and activities they love.
Dr. Spatz attended medical school and completed her residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she also served on the faculty. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. Her experience includes several years as an assistant surgeon with the U.S. Public Health Service and nearly two decades in private practice orthopedics. She is a respected fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
As an avid triathlete, cyclist and hiker, Dr. Spatz knows first-hand the joy of an active lifestyle. She is committed to treating each patient like family and finds fulfillment in restoring mobility, treating deformities and improving the health of her community. When not at work, Dr. Spatz enjoys spending time with her family, training for her next event and challenging herself by learning new skills
