About Deborah Ruth Almeda, FNP

Deborah R. Almeda, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in helping women with pelvic floor disorders that impact their quality of life.

Deborah earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. She completed a Master of Science in nursing at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Deborah believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, valued and empowered throughout their healthcare journey. She emphasizes compassionate listening, patient education and shared decision-making. Her goal is to help individuals find hope and confidence, even when faced with complex or overwhelming health challenges.

Outside of work, Deborah enjoys tending her vegetable garden, competitive rowing and painting. Her blended family is lively and active with seven children and many pets, including cats, dogs, fish and snails. Having grown up in a military family, she values community, service and lifelong learning.
