About Dana Jo Beasley, AGACNP

Dana Beasley, MSN, ACNPC-AG, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiology and critical care. Dana earned a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis. She is certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses in adult gerontology.

Dana has always loved cardiology and critical care. Educating patients and their families about heart disease and preventing heart disease can be very impactful. Dana, who has been a nurse for 24 years, loves her career and enjoys taking care of patients in both good and bad times. She started her career as a nursing assistant, then became a licensed practical nurse, then a registered nurse and then fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner.

She strives to provide safe, effective quality care that is patient-centered and wholistic. Dana believes it is important to gain patients’ trust with honor and integrity.

After growing up in Gloucester, Dana now lives in Newport News and enjoys the proximity to several beaches and the fact that there’s always something to do. She has three children and one grandchild. She enjoys doing crafts, visiting art museums and making over old furniture.
