About Asia Denise Gordon, DNP

After earning a Bachelor of Science in biology from Dillard University, Asia graduated from the Riverside School of Professional Nursing as a registered nurse in 2012.  In 2018, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing; and in 2023 her Doctor of Nursing Practice, both from Simmons University. Asia is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Asia is honored to serve her community through the diverse specialty of family medicine. She considers health care to be more than a career — rather, a calling that comes with great responsibility and the invaluable benefit of impacting lives for generations. Asia cares for her patients with compassion, loyalty, integrity and excellence.

Born in New Jersey, Asia grew up in an Army family that also lived in North Carolina, Texas and Michigan. She is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who enjoys the diverse, family-friendly nature of Hampton Roads with her husband, Michael, and their two children. Outside of work, Asia’s interests include home décor, crafting and spending time with family and friends.
