About Amanda Brooke Peters, AGACNP-BC

A. Brooke Peters, AG-ACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who specializes in urology, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, enlarged prostate, bladder infections, blood in urine and other urologic conditions.  

Brooke earned a Master of Science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond with an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner concentration. She completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk. Brooke is board certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.  

Providing comprehensive care is important to Brooke. Her experience in critical care and the surgical ICU has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to support every stage of urologic care. She enjoys getting to know her patients and building a plan that works best for them. Her philosophy in medicine is to treat the whole patient, not just the disease.  

Brooke loves plants, gardening, painting and spending time with her family and pets. As a Virginia native, she appreciates the opportunity to give back to the community.
