About Zachary Alexander Morie, DO

Zachary A. Morie, D.O., is a board-certified family medicine physician who cares for patients who are 6 years old and up. He specializes in preventive care, mental health and chronic disease management.

Dr. Morie grew up in Williamsburg and earned a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the College of William and Mary. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and completed his family medicine residency at Riverside Health. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Drawn to family medicine by the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients of all ages, Dr. Morie works closely with each person to understand their needs and goals. He believes in listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and helping patients feel informed and confident about their healthcare decisions. His commitment to serving others also extends beyond his practice, including participation in medical mission work in Santa Rosa, Honduras.

Outside of work, Dr. Morie enjoys gardening, reading and watching sports. He and his wife have two children, and they value the family-friendly atmosphere of the Williamsburg area.
