About Tyler Goon, FNP

Tyler Goon, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of gastrointestinal and digestive conditions.   

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. He completed his Master of Science in nursing within the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. Tyler is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.   

Having over 15 years of experience in various settings, including emergency care, internal medicine and long-term care, Tyler takes pride in his calm approach and caring bedside manner and treats each patient like family.   

Growing up in coastal California and Virginia, Tyler appreciates being close to water and enjoying the beach and beautiful scenery. He is happily married and, when he's not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and cheering on his kids at their sporting events and catching up over family meals.
