About Tushar Umakant Gajjar, MD

Dr. Gajjar is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his internship at Baylor University Medical Center, followed by an anesthesiology residency at George Washington University, where he went on to serve as an assistant professor. Dr. Gajjar completed his fellowship in pain management at Brighamand Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Gajjar is an experienced pain management anesthesiologist. He and his staff focus on improving the quality of life for patients living with pain by offering patients the latest advances in pain management including: epidural steroid injections, facet injections, radiofrequency lesioning, sympathetic blocks, discograms, spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps. In addition, many patients with neck and low back pain benefit from his care.

Dr. Gajjar had an independent practice in Williamsburg for more than 15 years before joining Riverside in 2014. He has traveled throughout the world, but mostly, he enjoys spending time with his family in Williamsburg.
