About Timothy Patrick Larkin II, DO

 

Dr. Larkin earned his medical degree from the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. He subsequently completed a family medicine residency with Riverside Brentwood Medical Center in Newport News. Dr. Larkin is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Larkin enjoys the ability to treat patients of any age and form long-term relationships while doing so. He believes that the partnership with a patient is the key to treating and preventing disease. Dr. Larkin’s areas of special interest include diabetes care, preventive health, joint injections and skin procedures.

A Hampton Roads native and Old Dominion University alum, Dr. Larkin loves living in a coastal community with an abundance of water-related activities — of which boating is his favorite. He enjoys spending free time with his wife and their daughter.

Dr Larkin is an exceptional Doctor. He listens, values your thoughts and concerns, and works with you to come up with a plan of care that works for you. He is intuitive and caring. Very knowledgeable. Understanding. Never pushy. Always is open to conversations about anything you have concerns about. He believes you and listens and you leave feeling heard and very much helped. Never makes you feel like you are crazy or stupid. Always treats you as an adult who can discuss things and make decisions as a team. It is hard to find a doctor like Doctor Larkin. He is always striving to learn new things. Doesn't get complacent. Doctor Larkin is one in a million!
