About Sara Elaine Stein, FNP
Sara Stein holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Walden University in Minnesota. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Mountain State University in West Virginia. She’s board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Sara chose to specialize in family practice because it allows her to care for and create long-term relationships with patients of all ages. She especially likes supporting patients through depression, anxiety and weight loss. Sara believes involving patients in their own healthcare decisions ultimately builds greater trust and better outcomes.
Sara was born at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News and grew up in West Virginia. Since 2013, she’s been part of the Riverside Health System family. A self-proclaimed thrill-seeker, Sara is a big fan of sports cars, roller coasters and skydiving. She lives in New Kent with her fiancé and two children.
