About Robyn A Vargo, DO

 

Dr. Vargo is a fellowship trained surgeon specializing in total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction and bunion surgery, as well as treatment for rheumatoid deformities and complex fractures of the ankle and foot. In addition, she uses nonsurgical and injury prevention treatments. With a background in dance including dancing with a nationally known troupe, Dr. Vargo also holds a special interest in the prevention and treatment of dance and sports injuries.

Dr. Vargo's additional special focuses include complex deformity correction, cartilage preservation, fracture management and rheumatoid deformities.

She attended the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training at Brentwood Hospital in Cleveland. Her fellowship training at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville focused on Adult Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle.

Dr. Vargo was fantastic. She explained my condition and acted quickly to take measures to expedite my healing. She took time to show my x-rays and explain what needed to be done now as well as follow-up to make certain I was healed. I would highly recommend her with no reservations.

Dr. Vargo is an excellent Dr. She fully addressed & implemented the necessary treatment to resolve my problem & pain. Dr. Vargo is an excellent Surgeon who preformed my ankle surgery 3 years ago. She has a great "bedside manner" which is very reassuring. I highly recommend Dr. Vargo for your orthopedic problems.

Dr. Vargo listened to my issue with the pain I was experiencing from having an ingrown toenail, she made an exception ,instead of having me come back, she performed the extraction the same day. I'm extremely grateful having it done at that time instead of coming back another day, I highly recommend Dr. Vargo for any foot or ankle issues you may be experiencing.
