Dr. Winfield specializes in physiatry and pain management as well as non-surgical approaches to osteoarthritis. His practice is concerned with evaluating and treating impairments caused by musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Winfield uses EMG testing and ultrasound-guided joint and tendon injections as well as spinal interventional procedures.

Dr. Winfield graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Winfield was very attentive and professional with me. He took time to answer all my questions and concerns. The skeletal model was very helpful. The procedure went as described with the exception of the pain during the several shots/injections. That said I am very appreciative of his efforts and am starting to feel better on day two.
