About Michael John Abadier, DO
Michael J. Abadier, D.O., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained pulmonary and critical care physician specializing in neurologic and cardiovascular critical illness, asthma and eosinophilic lung disease.
Dr. Abadier completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Prior to medical school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island. His internal medicine residency training was through Kent Hospital at Brown University in Warwick, Rhode Island, and he completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at UCHealth Parkview Health Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. He is board certified in internal medicine and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Abadier advocates for his patients and ensures they get what they need no matter the time, place or problem. He takes pride in caring for the sickest patients in their time of need.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Abadier stays active mountain biking, golfing and skiing. He enjoys the beauty of coastal Virginia and our close-knit community.
