Dr. Matthew D. Reed is a Board Certified, fellowship trained retinal surgeon. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of potentially blinding conditions of the retina and vitreous, and offers the latest techniques in the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment.

Dr. Reed completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received his fellowship training in retina at the prestigious University of Wisconsin.

Dr. Reed explains every single step he is taking. Even though I've had many eye injections he still explains it step-by-step so nothing comes as a surprise. We are also discussing a more serious treatment, and he has answered all my questions and explained every single step of what may be coming. That makes it much less scary!
