About Mary Adams Clark, FNP
Mary Clark, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in care throughout the lifespan from pediatrics through adulthood. She enjoys treating the entire family, watching children grow, caring for them during their teens and managing the unique needs of adults with multiple health problems.
Mary earned her nursing degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, a Master of Science in nursing from George Mason University in Fairfax and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Marymount University in Fairfax. She is licensed as a family nurse practitioner by the Virginia Department of Health Professions and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Building a strong relationship with her patients is important to Mary. She listens to them, offering a comfortable space to share their health care needs. A central focus of her practice is treating patients as family and promoting a healthy lifestyle to prevent chronic health problems.
Mary was born on the Eastern Shore and understands the community’s lifestyle and interests. She loves being near the water and enjoying fresh seafood with her three adult children. Mary’s diverse hobbies include cross-stitch, watching football and listening to music.
