About Mark Gregory Clarke, MD
Dr. Clarke earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1984. He completed a family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School with Portsmouth Family Practice in 1987. Dr. Clarke is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
A highly experienced family medicine physician, Dr. Clarke enjoys getting to know his patients and their families over the long term while treating a wide range of medical conditions. He believes in taking the time to listen to patients. Dr. Clarke promotes good health by encouraging a healthy lifestyle first and then supplementing it with medication and other interventions as appropriate for each individual.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Clarke has enjoyed living on the Eastern Shore of Virginia since 1987. He is particularly fond of the water and rural beauty of the area. In his free time, Dr. Clarke enjoys gardening, walking, traveling and being outdoors.
