About Leo Melek Bailey II, DO

Leo M. Bailey, D.O., earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He holds a master’s in public health from Eastern Virginia Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Hampton University. He completed his residency at Riverside Family Medicine at the Brentwood Medical Center in Newport News.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Bailey focuses on whole-body healing and disease prevention. He is a firm believer in the philosophy that there’s more to health than simply being free of pain or disease. Dr. Bailey values the relationships he builds with his patients and works to establish trust, respect and understanding.

Dr. Bailey was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He feels at home with the pace of life in Hampton Roads, the area’s friendly Southern vibe and proximity to both beaches and mountains. He enjoys gaming, billiards and dancing. Dr. Bailey and his wife have three children.
