About Latosha Christine Foster, FNP

Latosha earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Old Dominion University in 2008. She later advanced her education and nursing practice by earning a Master of Science in nursing from Spring Arbor University in 2020. Latosha is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

After beginning her nursing career in cardiology and critical care, Latosha developed a passion for women’s health and pursued her desire to meet the growing needs of women from childbearing age to later adulthood. As a nurse practitioner, her areas of special interest include contraception, menopause, prenatal care, family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, dysmenorrhea and menstrual cycle irregularity.

Because women’s health exams are often overlooked, Latosha strives to provide education on their importance, while creating an open, caring environment in which women can feel comfortable discussing personal subjects. She strongly believes in taking time to listen to and understand the concerns of her patients and their families.

Originally from Virginia Beach, Latosha has been a Williamsburg resident since 2002. She loves the local scenery, especially in the fall, from the beach to nature trails and wildlife. In her free time, Latosha enjoys reading, bird watching and shopping with her daughter.
