About Kanhaiyalal T Trivedi, MD

Dr. Trivedi earned his medical degree from J.N. Medical College at Karnataka University in India. After an internal medicine residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York, he completed a neurology residency at North Shore University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. He received fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Trivedi is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with additional board certification in sleep medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Finding neurology to be a difficult yet incredibly fascinating specialty, Dr. Trivedi recognizes how significantly neurological health affects daily life. A highly trained expert with a patient-centered medical philosophy, he specializes in sleep medicine, epilepsy, migraines and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Trivedi’s 15 years of experience in practice and research have equipped him with expertise in successful, innovative diagnostic and treatment methods.

Originally from Mumbai, India, Dr. Trivedi is married with a teenage son and a young daughter. His favorite hobbies include swimming and music.
