About Joseph Patrick Riley, DO

Joseph P. Riley, D.O., is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy, cancer screening and minimally invasive surgery to treat gynecologic conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids and uterine polyps. Supporting the health of women throughout all stages of their life is important to Dr. Riley. He is committed to his patients and treats them with honesty and respect. 

Dr. Riley earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed an internal medicine residency and obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now part of Rutgers University. Dr. Riley is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. 

Dr. Riley values staying active and spending time with his family. He is originally from New Jersey and enjoys the small, rural communities in coastal Virginia.

Dr. Riley was a blessing to me. I have been battling with a fibroid that has been causing me some issues for quite a few months now. When I say this doctor came in not knowing me and was able to tell me pass few years of history of things of what was going on with my health and not having a computer or paper/notes in front of him amazed me. He showed me he genuinely cared about his patients. Dr Riley gave me hope, he came in with a plan and I would definitely recommend him to anyone! 10 out of 10
