About Jennifer Bell Ross, FNP

Ms. Ross received her Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University as well as a minor in psychology. She then obtained her Master of Science degree from Old Dominion University. After managing an oncology unit, Ms. Ross decided that she missed direct patient care so she went back to Old Dominion University and graduated with her post-master's certificate as a family nurse practitioner.

Ms. Ross provides care services at Riverside Gastroenterology Specialists as well as Riverside Shore Cancer Center. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Riverside Advanced Practice Provider Committee. She is certified as an Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner.

Ms. Ross's special medical interests include diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the digestive system, treating hepatitis C, administering capsule endoscopies, educating patients on chemotherapy regimens and caring for patients in a holistic manner.
