About Ines Stromberg, MD

Dr. Ines Stromberg earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her general surgery internship at the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Maryland, and Urology residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Stromberg served 11 years as an active-duty Navy physician. She believes in looking at the patient as a whole, rather than just treating a disease, and tailors her treatment plans to meet the needs of individual patients and their families. Dr. Stromberg holds particular interest in robotic and microscopic surgery and is focused on making use of the latest technologies and medical advances to provide patients of all ages, especially our aging population, with critical urologic care close to home.

Dr. Stromberg is enjoying life in the Gloucester area. She appreciates the common sense, work ethic and generosity of spirit she has encountered in the community. Originally from Albania, she enjoys gardening, exercising and traveling with her husband and three adult children.
