Dr. Prillaman earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where he also completed residency training. Dr. Prillaman is board-certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Prillaman is a general urologist who treats urologic conditions in both men and women. He holds particular interest in medical and surgical management of kidney stones including percutaneous stone removal and other minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Prillaman also focuses on the treatment of bladder cancer, BPH, and performs vasectomy.

Dr. Prillaman is a native of Newport News. His wife Christy, is a medical oncologist. In his free time he enjoys tennis, golf and running as well as spending time with family.

Dr. Prillaman is an excellent physician. He is always prepared and gives me the best possible care for my condition. I learned after the appointment that he is planning to retire, and I'm concerned about replacing him. My last two urologists did not live up to his high standards.

Dr. Prilliman is the best of the best! We inherited him over a year ago when I took [...] to the Doctors [...]. He had his first ever kidney stone. It was the size of a quarter! [...] He was able to get hold of Dr Prillaman, who agreed to do surgery, the next day [...], which was on a Sunday! There's no doubt that Dr. Prillaman cares no only about his patients, but future patients that he hasn't even met yet! We have been traveling [...] to see Dr Prillaman for check ups, even though we live between [...]. There couldn't be a more dedicated doctor for many miles!
