About Emily Ferrara Crockett, FNP

Emily Crockett, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in pulmonary medicine, asthma and obstructive sleep apnea. She discovered a passion for lung and breathing health after working eight years in a respiratory intensive care unit. Emily enjoys helping patients breathe and sleep better with the latest treatments, procedures and equipment.

Emily earned her nursing degree at James Madison University in Harrisonburg and a Master of Science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Involving patients in their care is important to Emily. An approachable listener, Emily makes patients comfortable discussing their questions and concerns. She understands the challenges of sleep apnea and the issues many people experience with consistent CPAP usage.

Emily and her husband are Virginia natives and enjoy seeing family and friends. She stays active while away from work by taking advantage of local beaches, mountains and rivers and spending time with her two sons.
