About Darine Moukalled, MD

Dr. Darine Moukalled received her medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, before completing two residencies in obstetrics and gynecology—first at the American University of Beirut and later at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Obesity Medicine and is a Menopause Society-certified menopause practitioner.

Dr. Moukalled brings over a decade of clinical experience providing comprehensive women's healthcare across all stages of life. Her clinical interests include fertility, PCOS/PMOS and metabolic health, menopause care, obesity medicine, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and the integration of lifestyle medicine with evidence-based medical care.

Originally from Lebanon, Dr. Moukalled moved to the United States in 2006. She and her husband live in Newport News with their three children. Outside of medicine, Dr. Moukalled enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing, reading, and finding new ways to educate and empower women to take charge of their health.
