About Darine Moukalled, MD

Dr. Moukalled received her medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, before completing two residencies in obstetrics and gynecology, first at the American University of Beirut and then at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Moukalled is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a certified menopause practitioner by the North American Menopause Society. In addition, she is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and the North American Menopause Society.

Dr. Moukalled values the bond of trust that allows women to share intimate information in a comfortable environment. She is an experienced provider who works alongside women on the challenging issues they face, ensuring the best care for each patient’s unique situation. Dr. Moukalled enjoys all areas of obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in infertility counseling and treatment, contraceptive care, menopausal care and the medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding.

Originally from Lebanon, Dr. Moukalled moved to the U.S. in 2006. She, her husband and their three children reside in Newport News, where they enjoy the area’s weather and attractions. In her free time, Dr. Moukalled enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends.
