About Courtney Brooke Penn, FNP
Courtney B. Penn, MSN, RN, CCRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner focused on caring for people with chronic health conditions. She provides high-quality preventive care to reduce complications and hospitalizations.
Courtney earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. She completed a Master of Science in nursing at Simmons College in Boston.
With more than 20 years of nursing experience in critical care settings — and a specialty certification in critical care nursing — Courtney understands the importance of problem-solving in health care. She’s an active listener who empathizes with her patients and their families.
Courtney and her family live on a hobby farm in Gloucester, where they care for a variety of animals. A Pennsylvania native, she appreciates country living that’s close to both the water and city life. Courtney is married with two children. When she isn’t working, Courtney enjoys gardening, hiking, competitive equestrian events and renovating her 1901 farmhouse.
