About Charles Myers Vaughan, MD

Dr. Vaughan completed his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, and his medical degree at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Subsequently, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA, completing a year as chief resident. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Vaughan is Board Certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases and is a licensed nuclear cardiologist. He has been practicing cardiology since 1993. Dr. Vaughan's current practice includes non-invasive, invasive, and interventional cardiology.

Dr. Vaughn was friendly. Because I was nervous & dealing with Lyme's Desease. I had to explain further about what happened in a recent Stress Test after reading my After Visit Notes. I got a positive response. I forward to continuing my relationship with him.

Dr. Vaughn was personally recommended by my PCP, and I understand why - I felt he was good! I learned a bit more about his thinking from the summary and chatGPT, thoughright branch blockage, electrical issueswhew! I understand the reasons for the tests he prescribed now.
