About Catherine Marie Zatorski, MD
Catherine M. Zatorski, M.D., is a vascular surgeon who specializes in artery, vein and lymphatic conditions, including peripheral artery disease (PAD), aneurysms, carotid artery disease and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
Dr. Zatorski earned her Bachelor of Arts in international affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Afterward, she received her medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey. Her general surgery residency training took place at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident. She then completed the Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Rutgers Health – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. She is board certified in general surgery by the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Zatorski’s medical philosophy is rooted in compassion, collaboration and commitment to long-term impact. She listens closely, acts decisively and builds trust over time with her patients. Her goal is to preserve independence, dignity and quality of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Zatorski finds joy in staying active and connecting with family and friends. She enjoys hiking, exploring nature and traveling to new places. She appreciates the sense of community and easy access to the water and historic towns that coastal Virginia offers.
