About Brittany Leigh Hatchett, DO

Brittany L. Hatchett, D.O., is an OB-GYN who specializes in women’s health across all stages of life. Dr. Hatchett values building relationships with patients and supporting them through their happiest and most challenging times.  

Dr. Hatchett began her academic journey at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Following medical school, Dr. Hatchett completed a general surgery internship at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina and an obstetrics/gynecology residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. 

Dr. Hatchett values a team approach. She gives patients the information they need to feel empowered to make the best health decisions. She also works to create a comfortable and compassionate environment.  

When she’s not at work, Dr. Hatchett has a wide range of interests, including cooking, baking, traveling and spending time outdoors. She enjoys being with her family and friends and appreciates being close to beaches, cities and mountains in the Hampton Roads area.
