About Biral Sanjay Amin, MD

Dr. Amin treats all cancer sites, with a special interest in head and neck cancers and significant experience in prostate brachytherapy. His areas of focus include prostate seed implants, 3D-CRT, arc and IMRT treatments as well as high and low dose rate brachytherapy.

Dr. Amin received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed residency training at New York Methodist Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology/Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Amin is a past winner of the national Roentgen Research Award. He comes to Riverside from Chesapeake General Hospital where he was the director of radiation therapy. Dr. Amin also holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.

Originally raised in Hampton Roads, Dr. Amin returned to the area upon finishing his medical training. He is married with three children and enjoys exercising, particularly running.
