About Amanda Foskey Norman, FNP

Amanda Norman is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned a Master of Science, family nurse practitioner, from Walden University.

Amanda has more than 14 years of hospital experience working in a variety of roles from nursing assistant to registered nurse. She spent the first six years of her health care career at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

She spent the last six years working as an RN on the Women and Infant Care Unit at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Her experience there instilled in her a deep compassion for the profound impact that delivery trauma, incontinence and urogynecological complications can have on individuals and their quality of life. With that in mind, she chose urology as her specialty. It is her goal to destigmatize incontinence and normalize openly talking about this common problem that affects more than 25 million American adults. She aims to help incontinence sufferers improve their quality of life and get back to doing the things they love.

Amanda is thrilled to practice with the Riverside Urology team in her hometown of Williamsburg, Virginia. She and her husband enjoy taking their two children to the pool and on bike rides. She completed the Cap2Cap bike race on the Virginia Capital Trail with her best mom-friends. Amanda also enjoys camping, hiking and backyard barbeques. She has a great sense of humor and believes laughter is the key to living a healthy life.
