About Adam W Medlin, FNP

Adam W. Medlin, FNP-BC, is a board-certified gastroenterology nurse practitioner specializing in treating gastroenterological conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and short bowel syndrome. Adam takes a patient-first approach to care and is relentless in his pursuit of answers.  

Before beginning a career in nursing, Adam served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear reactor operator. He became a registered nurse in 2010 and then completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Excelsior College, now Excelsior University, in Albany, New York. Adam earned a Master of Science in nursing from Florida Gulf Coast University.  

Born in Hampton Roads, Adam spent much of his career in Florida.  Returning home, he enjoys our community, weightlifting, cooking, working on cars and traveling.
