Justine Kapp, Pharm.D.
I grew up in a military family and lived in many different places then finally ended up in Yorktown, Virginia. I completed my undergraduate studies and earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Purdue University. My professional interests at the moment include ambulatory care, academia, and working with underserved populations. I chose to pursue a PGY1 at Riverside because of the wide variety of learning opportunities this program has to offer so I can explore different clinical settings and expand my knowledge on different disease states with an end goal of becoming a well-rounded pharmacist. The thing that drew me towards Riverside was how eager the pharmacy team is in supporting our growth throughout residency. Outside of pharmacy, I love listening to music, playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and going to karaoke.

I am originally from Marion Station, Maryland. I completed my undergraduate at Wor-Wic Community College and my Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. My professional interests include emergency medicine, infectious disease, and internal medicine. I chose to pursue my PGY1 at Riverside because of the variety of rotation experiences offered, as well as the friendly and welcoming learning environment that Riverside possesses. The program’s high resident retention also stood out to me, reflecting a positive and supportive workplace where I could continue to grow professionally. Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy exploring antique shops, trying new coffee places, or reading a book.
