Medical Education at Riverside Health System
Riverside is committed to medical education and provides the tools to enhance learning with exemplary clinical training. The Huntington Ingalls Industries Education and Simulation Training Center at Riverside offers simulation instrumentation and virtual reality tools to enable our clinicians to learn active clinical methodologies. In addition to the Simulation Lab, the training center provides classroom space, a resident study lounge, library services and laboratories.
Educational Opportunities through Symposium Learning
Our health system is proud to host several annual symposiums, gathering provider specialists and innovations in care to enhance educational opportunities for providers across the region. Examples of Riverside Clinical Symposiums include our annual Stroke Symposium and our 30th Annual Hampton Roads Trauma Symposium.
