Riverside Behavioral Health Center, an established mental health care provider in Hampton Roads since 1983 provides psychiatric and chemical dependency services to children, adolescents and adults. In April 2000, Riverside acquired the 135-bed facility.

Crisis situations often demand options that are immediately available. RESPOND provides 24-hour, 7-day a week free, confidential comprehensive assessments and referral assistance for psychiatric and chemical dependency problems. The RESPOND Team of registered nurses are mental health professionals experienced in assisting individuals, families and professionals.

Riverside Behavioral Health Center is conveniently located at 2244 Executive Drive in Hampton, Virginia on a private 11.6-acre campus.

The hospital is a 147-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed by the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.
