This nine-month program, from August to May of each year, is designed specifically for providers. The purpose is to prepare our physicians and APPs for greater leadership opportunities within Riverside Health System and the health care industry. Participants will learn to apply influential leadership principles within their teams. They will gain a better understanding of the organization, including decision-making processes and how to analyze basic financial information. They will enhance their communication skills.
Additional focus areas include the concepts of high reliability and how we can apply them to quality, safety and service. Participants will also learn how to effectively design a process improvement project and apply change management principles.
