Returning home to embrace and heal a community

“The Eastern Shore is my home. When I returned, I really wanted to come and work in our community hospital,” said Cindy Pablo, an RN in the ER.

When she first stepped into the ER, she knew she had found her calling. “They say once you go to the ER, you never go back. My passion is here in this ER and I have loved it from day one.”

That passion is about taking care of patients in their most critical health moments and going that extra mile that Riverside nurses do as part of the mission to care for others as we would care for those we love.

“Riverside’s mission embodied me, and I embodied it. From the moment I chose to become a nurse that was my motto. I have always taken care of patients as if they were my own family members,” said Pablo.

In addition to being able to follow her passion in the ER, Pablo feels fortunate to be able to do so in the surroundings of the new hospital. “Riverside has given us a gem. We are so blessed to have this in our community.”
