Amanda Stiteler, MD
Urology

After earning her medical degree from the University of Arizona, Dr. Stiteler completed residency training in urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is eligible for board certification by the American Board of Urology.
Drawn to the dynamic surgical subspecialty of urology, Dr. Stiteler enjoys its many opportunities to improve patients’ quality of life. She is a detailed-oriented provider who cares for her patients as if they were her own family members, with expertise in general male and female urology, benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder cancer, kidney stones, pelvic organ prolapse and voiding dysfunction.
Dr. Stiteler approaches her medical practice with the fundamental goals of patient-centered care as well as continuous self-improvement. With professional interests in international health care and human rights in medicine, she has also served in many medical volunteer capacities in India, West Africa and South Africa.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Stiteler finds Hampton Roads to be a beautiful area with many opportunities for outdoor adventures. She and her husband Jeremy, an active-duty U.S. Air Force general surgeon, have two Dachshunds named Otto and Wilson. Dr. Stiteler enjoys cycling, hiking, traveling and watching the Tour de France and Bayern Munich soccer.
