Alana Hutchens, PA-C

Alana received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Forensic Science Certificate from the University of North Texas before earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University. Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, she is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

After growing up playing sports, being injured and seeing others injured, Alana can empathize with benched athletes. Perhaps that's why she finds the specialty of orthopedics so fulfilling. Whether helping someone walk again or return to being an Olympic athlete, Alana enjoys the hands-on opportunity to correct issues that are preventing her patients from doing what they want to do. Seeing the tangible progress of recovery is the ultimate reward.

Originally from Texas, Alana is excited about exploring multiple states on the East Coast within a manageable driving distance, as well as experiencing four seasons. She is an avid traveler who is always planning her next adventure, with recent visits to New York, California, Mexico, New Zealand and Australia. When she is not lost in a movie, TV show or book, she can be found spending time with family and friends.
