Susan M. Brown, MD
Dr. Brown earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia and completed her medical internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed neurology residency training and fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG/EEG) at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Brown also holds a master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing from Emory University. She earned a certification from the American Society of Neurorehabilitation and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Brown welcomes patients with all types of neurological disorders, such as migraines, dementia, stroke, seizures and MS. A major aspect of her approach includes educating patients on their condition and allowing them to play an active role in their care. Dr. Brown encourages patients to incorporate a variety of treatment options to help improve their quality of life, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and cognitive therapy. She enjoys playing sports and cheering for teams, especially for the University of Georgia and her son's lacrosse team.
