Alert: Riverside is committed to supporting the health and wellness of our communities. The Nutrition and Physical Activity During and After Cancer Treatment classes will be postponed as we focus our efforts on limiting potential exposure to COVID-19 for everyone in the communities we serve. This is a proactive step, and it’s consistent with guidance from leading U.S. health organizations. Please check back for future classes.

This program is full of helpful information to get patients on the right nutrition track. The one-hour program teaches you how to maximize your nutrition during and after cancer treatment. You'll also learn how good nutrition benefits your health and well-being.

The group facilitator is a registered dietitian who talks about how to manage side effects that affect nutrition and the best food choices for survivorship. Time is allotted for you to ask questions and talk about nutrition concerns with dietitians who specialize in cancer nutrition. American Cancer Society logoThis program follows American Cancer Society guidelines on nutrition and physical activity for cancer prevention.

We encourage caregivers, family and friends to attend. This free program is open to the community; attendees do not have to be Riverside patients. Preregistration is required; please register for the class you want to attend.
