Mary Cleckler

Mary earned a diploma in nursing from the Riverside School of Professional Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in health services from the California College for Health Sciences. She is a licensed registered nurse and an oncology certified nurse.

Finding her work very rewarding, Mary enjoys building lasting relationships with patients as she offers encouragement, hope and support. In turn, they teach her about courage and appreciation for life. Mary’s door is always open to her patients.

Mary grew up in Alabama and now enjoys the rich history of Virginia. She and her husband have two adult children and two grandchildren. Mary loves spending time with them, as well as playing with her cats and traveling to warm, sunny places.

Amy Grant

Amy Grant, RN, OCN
Oncology Nurse Navigator, Colorectal & Gastrointestinal Cancer
She is a licensed registered nurse and an oncology certified nurse.

Amy was motivated to work in the field of oncology by a strong family history of cancer that has affected her personally. She approaches her work with the goal of caring for others as she would want to be treated.

A Gloucester native, Amy enjoys living in her hometown with her two dogs. She enjoys the beach, traveling and spending time with family.

Elizabeth Carter

Elizabeth Jenkins, BSN, RN, OCN
Oncology Nurse Navigator, Breast Cancer
Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Old Dominion University, an Associate of Applied Science in nursing from Rappahannock Community College and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from South University. She is a licensed registered nurse and an oncology certified nurse.

With many years of oncology nursing experience, Elizabeth’s goal is to share her knowledge with patients to make their journey easier and less stressful. She values the opportunity to work with patients who show such strength and grace in dealing with serious illness, as it continually helps her remember what is important in life.

Originally from West Point, Elizabeth loves all the water in our area. She enjoys boating, fishing, going to the beach and spending time with her husband, children and stepchildren.

Christina Johnson

Christina Johnson, BSN, RN, PCCN
Oncology Nurse Navigator, All Cancers
After graduating from the Riverside School of Professional Nursing, Christina earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University. She is a licensed registered nurse and a progressive care certified nurse.

Christina considers it an honor to be part of her patients’ journey, finding that they teach her how to be a better person through their perseverance, gratitude, resolve and vulnerability. She recognizes that each person and each cancer are different, and her desire is that patients know they are not alone.

Christina grew up in an Army family that moved frequently before settling in Virginia. She loves the family-like community of Gloucester County. An avid runner and outdoor enthusiast, Christina enjoys the beach, the mountains and time with her husband and two sons.
