 look good feel better
Cancer can rob a woman of her energy, appetite, and strength. But it does not have to take away her self-confidence. Look Good Feel Better ® is a FREE program that teaches beauty techniques to women in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Volunteer beauty professionals lead small groups, usually about 6 to 10 women, through practical, hands-on experience. Women learn about makeup, skin care, nail care, and ways to deal with hair loss such as with wigs, turbans, and scarves. Each woman gets a free makeup kit to use during and after the workshop. Patients must be undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment, or have recently finished their treatment to participate. Classes fill up quickly! Please register early!
