Gloucester, Va. – Calling all family caregivers who need help understanding dementia, managing challenging behaviors, handling stress and finding time for self-care.

The Riverside Center for Excellence in Aging and Lifelong Health will host a Dealing with Dementia workshop in Gloucester at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital (7519 Hospital Dr.) on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

This evidence-informed educational program of the Rosalynn Carter Institute of Caregiving is tailored to family caregivers of those living with dementia.

During the four-hour program, caregivers will receive "The Dealing with Dementia Guide," a 360-page manual designed for caregivers, and insights from trained professionals and peers about dementia caregiving.
