A Dog Day Fundraiser Graphic

All dogs welcome to strut their stuff in fun event at historic Blandfield Lodge to benefit the Riverside Health System Foundation.

Tappahannock, Va. – Riverside will host “A Dog Day” fundraiser on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Blandfield Lodge, overlooking the Rappahannock River. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Riverside Health System Foundation and its mission to provide Tappahannock and Northern Neck area residents the best health care possible.

All breeds, both mixed and pure, are welcome to enter the show for a fee of $10. Spectators are free. Lunch will be available for purchase during the event.

Dogs can be judged in several fun classes including Best Costume, Best Tail, Best Personality and Best in Show.

Trick dogs and companion dogs are also welcome to participate, and amateur and American Kennel Club judging classes will be available for an additional fee.

All dogs must be on a leash and proof of vaccination is required for entry. Pre-registration is not necessary.
