Riverside Tappahannock Hospital will host "Colorectal Cancer Detection and Screening – Truth vs. Marketing," a free community lecture presented by Reginald Mason, M.D. on Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The lecture, which will be held at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, will cover the following:
- colon cancer screening guidelines;
- types of screenings;
- why colonoscopies are the “Gold Standard;”
- risk factors for colon cancer; and
- who should get screened.
A light meal will be provided to attendees.
