Jesse F. Sanderson, MD
Dr. Sanderson received his medical school education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and spent his transitional year at the Naval Hospital Oakland. He completed his residency at Stanford University Medical Center and his fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology at the University of Virginia. Dr. Sanderson is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
In 2008, Dr. Sanderson established the Riverside Neurovascular Center and in 2011 was joined by Dr. Wolfgang Leesch, an endovascular neurologist, and Dr. Dean Kostov, an endovascular neurosurgeon. Along with these two fellowship-trained neurovascular physicians, he now leads a highly-skilled and experienced clinical team performing therapeutic interventions to treat stroke, cerebral aneurysms, certain brain tumors and other life-threatening conditions of the brain and spine through minimally invasive, endovascular approaches.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Sanderson enjoys aviation. He has two children and 10 grandchildren.
