Stephanie D. Oetting, FNP
Stephanie earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
When Stephanie had the opportunity to work in general surgery during her medical training, she discovered her love of this varied specialty. Whether patients are undergoing acute, elective or long-term surgical treatments, she simply enjoys the opportunity to help them feel better. Stephanie specializes in colonoscopy consults, preoperative evaluations and minor procedures including skin biopsies, cyst and small skin lesion excisions, and port-a-cath removal.
Recognizing that health care can often be challenging to navigate and afford, Stephanie’s goal is to follow evidence-based medicine while developing a plan of care that meets each patient’s goals and expectations.
Stephanie grew up in a small rural town east of Kansas City, Missouri before attending college in Columbia, Missouri, where she lived for 12 years. New to Virginia, she looks forward to enjoying the water, exploring the many historical sites and experiencing local festivals and foods in our area. An avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, as well as any Mizzou sport, Stephanie also enjoys hunting, water sports and traveling.
