Denise Y. Duhon, M.D.
Dr. Duhon earned her medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1986. She completed internal medicine residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Duhon is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Duhon has practiced internal medicine with Riverside since 1994, finding it exciting to see new and improved treatments develop over the years. She hopes to see increasingly effective prevention and treatment for dementia, diabetes, obesity and infectious diseases.

As an internist, Dr. Duhon loves the wide range of patients and illnesses that she is able to treat. Her goal is to make every patient’s life better and, as a Christian, to do her job in a way that pleases her ultimate “boss.”

Dwight C. Herbert, M.D.
Dr. HerbertDr. Herbert earned his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed residency training in family medicine at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News. Dr. Herbert is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

An interest in caring for the entire patient rather than one part of the body led Dr. Herbert to begin practicing family medicine over 20 years ago. Seeking to understand each unique patient and personalize office visits, he intentionally takes an ongoing interest in his patients’ lives. He strives to be a patient advocate while providing complete transparency regarding medical care. Dr. Herbert also serves as chief of Riverside Medical Group’s primary care service line.

Chaitali M. Panchal, M.D.
Chaitali M. Panchal, M.D.Dr. Panchal received her medical degree from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in India. She completed an internal medicine residency at New York Medical College with the Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Panchal is eligible for board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Panchal loves her work, finding the specialty of internal medicine to be both interesting and challenging. As a primary care physician with a special interest in preventive medicine, she recognizes that she has the opportunity to affect the health and wellbeing of her patients — and she takes that job seriously. Dr. Panchal is committed to giving each patient her full attention to provide the best possible care.

Kenneth W. Putland, M.D.
Dr. PutlandAfter earning his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Putland completed family medicine residency training with Portsmouth Family Medicine in 1991. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Putland has practiced family medicine with Riverside since 1994, enjoying the opportunity to establish long-term relationships with his patients.

 

Kimberly A. Ratcliffe, M.D.
Dr. Ratcliffe graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency at the Tripler Army Medical Center in 1997. She is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

 


 

Mark E. Souther, M.D.
Dr. Souther earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine in 1990. He completed internal medicine residency training with A.B. Chandler Medical Center and the University of Kentucky. Dr. Souther is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In practice with Riverside since 1994, Dr. Souther is an experienced internist who specializes in the prevention, detection and treatment of illnesses in adults. He is trained to manage particularly complex and multi-system disease conditions, including both acute and chronic illness. Dr. Souther’s medical philosophy is to not only look for illness, but also to ultimately find good health for his patients.

Kevin P. Wolf, D.O. Dr. Wolf
Dr. Wolf earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing a family medicine residency with Susquehanna Health in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He is board-certified in osteopathy and allopathy by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine.

Enjoying the variety of challenges presented by treating all age groups and a diverse range of disease, Dr. Wolf is excited by the opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles through long-term relationships with his patients. He believes that the most important thing he can do as a family medicine provider is to ensure that those relationships are built on honesty, trust and collaboration.

Specializing in routine women's health and contraceptive care, weight management, sports medicine, and general health promotion, Dr. Wolf anticipates the upcoming incorporation of wearable and personal health technology to aid in evaluation, treatment and monitoring of disease.

Hayleigh D. Slezak, PA-C Hayleigh D. Slezak, PA-C
After earning a Bachelor of Science in biology from Christopher Newport University in 2008, Hayleigh earned a Master of Public Health from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2011. She went on to earn a Master of Physician Assistant degree in 2017, also from EVMS. Hayleigh is board-certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Hayleigh chose to specialize in primary care not only to treat patients with a variety of issues, but also to have a strong impact on preventative care. She believes that prevention is essential to good health and that a healthy lifestyle goes a long way. In her role as a Physician Assistant, Hayleigh also enjoys the opportunity to have ongoing relationships with her patients.

Priscilla A. Bullen, FNP-BC Priscilla A. Bullen, FNP-BC
Priscilla earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Nursing from Hampton University. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Priscilla has more than 20 years of nursing experience, including 10 years in a U.S. Army Reserve combat support hospital. Today as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she enjoys lasting relationships with patients and families while working on their long-term health goals. Her areas of special interest include asthma management, acne management, cardiovascular disease, obesity, Nexplanon insertion, birth control counseling, women’s health and collaborative diabetes management.

Priscilla believes that effective listening is key to understanding patients’ needs and goals. She treats her patients with the utmost respect and without judgment, in hopes that they will feel comfortable discussing any physical or emotional issue. To support patient autonomy, Priscilla also maintains openness to alternative and homeopathic treatment options in addition to traditional medicine.

Rhonda T. Sproles, LCSW Rhonda T. Sproles, LCSW
Rhonda earned a Bachelor of Science in social work from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and a Master of Social Work from Norfolk State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Virginia Board of Social Work and certified by the Department of Health Professions.

Rhonda volunteered at a teen crisis hotline while in high school, which instilled in her a strong desire to help others with the challenges of daily living. This experience lead her to the field of social work. She has spent more than 30 years walking alongside people in the journey of life with the goal of imparting hope to help them get the most out of life as possible.

Rhonda specializes in counseling for depression, anxiety, anger, sleep problems, life stage adjustment, postpartum depression, grief and loss. She is passionate about self-discovery, exploration and healing in a world full of overwhelming, confusing challenges and relationships. Rhonda knows how powerful it can be to have someone supporting and encouraging you to be your best and most authentic self, and she is honored to be that person.
